who. what. why.

Named after a colorful distant
relative – an Irish general known for his wild ways – Napper Tandy has always
embraced life's adventures. Split between New York City streets and woodland
retreats, his childhood shaped a lifelong pursuit of pure, unadulterated
recreation.

Twenty-four years ago, Napper
traded Brooklyn for Southern California in his '78 International Harvester
Scout, chasing dreams from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara. The transition from east
to west has been a long strange trip, but a love of mountain biking, skiing,
surfing, and vintage cars turned his grin into a permanent fixture.

After years as a creative
director in advertising, Napper became increasingly disturbed by technology's
stranglehold on our recreational pursuits and the gear that supports them. His
response? ntandy – a line of simple, analog goods and accessories built on
quality and function. More than just a brand; ntandy is an extension and
reflection of countless adventures shared with family and friends in pursuit of
recreation’s sweet, sweet nectar.
